Holkirk Communications, in partnership with Milexia UK, recently welcomed customers and industry partners to a dedicated demonstration day highlighting our expanding Flyaway and Person‑Pack terminal portfolio. The event provided a hands‑on opportunity to explore our next‑generation land terminal range and see first‑hand how Holkirk is redefining rapid‑deploy SATCOM capability across all mission profiles.
Attendees were introduced to the full spectrum of our new multi‑band terminals, including the Very Small (VS) ultra‑lightweight multi‑band system, the 1.0 m Person‑Pack terminal operating in X, Ku and Ka‑Band, and our scalable Small (S) 1.2 m, Medium (M) 1.5 m, and Large (L) Flyaway platforms. Each system was demonstrated in live acquisition scenarios, showcasing fast deployment, robust performance and seamless operation across GEO and non‑GEO constellations.

Medium (M) 1.5M TP150 Terminal
A key focus of the day was Holkirk’s commitment to commonality across the entire terminal family. All systems share interchangeable components including modems, BUCs and RF modules alongside a unified antenna‑control interface.
This architecture dramatically simplifies sparing, training and logistics support, enabling operators to move between terminal sizes and mission requirements with minimal retraining and maximum operational confidence.
The demonstration also highlighted the advantages of Holkirk’s modular design philosophy, allowing customers to scale capability, swap frequency bands in the field and maintain a consistent user experience across every platform.
The event was extremely well received, reinforcing the strength of the Holkirk–Milexia partnership and our shared commitment to delivering reliable, versatile and future‑ready SATCOM solutions for defence, government and commercial users.
Holkirk Communications would like to thank all attendees for joining us and contributing to a highly successful day of collaboration, innovation and hands‑on engagement.
